Happy Hikers

We’ll hike the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month starting Sat. Sep 20th. Hike as often as you like and feel free to bring friends, family, or other City Square folks.
Our goals are to enjoy the outdoors, City Square fellowship, discover new trails, exercise, and learn about the AZ desert.
For each hike:
•?Each hike will start with a short welcome and safety briefing
•?Bring sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and plenty of water
•?Hike distances will be geared to experience levels
•?Hiking pace will be relaxed, offering opportunities for taking pictures, great conversation, and enjoying the outdoors. We’re the “Happy Hikers” not the “”Pedal to the Metal” hikers.
First Hike:
•?Sat. Sep 20, 8AM-10AM
•?South Mountain Park, “Pima Canyon” entrance: 9904 S. 48th Street, 85044 (Link below)
•?3.25 mile loop with a few inclines
•?No park fee, nobody is in the guard shack, just drive right in.
•?Parking lot at top of E. Pima Canyon road or anywhere along the road.
•?Meet in the north side ramada by the parking lot (to your right as you drive in)
