Join us every Sunday in August and on September 1, for our “soft opening” worship services, at 10 a.m. at Phoenix Center for the Arts. We’ll have music from our band, preaching from pastors Rob and Brian, and holy communion. There will be nursery care for kids 0-4 and Sunday School for kids 5-11. Of course children are more than welcome to remain in worship, if you prefer.
Parking is free on the north side of the building and there will be refreshments before and after the service.
We’ve finished the “beta testing” phase for our worship services and in August we’ll move into our “soft opening.” We’ll offer services every Sunday in August and on September 1 as we build momentum and continue to refine our Sunday morning experience for our launch party on September 8th.
Our pre-launch sermon series is titled “Disruptive Love” and we’ll go in-depth on how our understanding of God’s love disrupts the status quo of our lives, our communities and our world.
Here’s what the series will look like:
When Love is Enough: Simplicity, humility & self-sacrifice// Colossians 3:12-17// Rob Rynders, preaching.
Love God//1 John 4:7-8//Brian Kemp-Schlemmer, preaching.
Love Your Enemies// Romans 12:9-21//Rob Rynders, preaching.
Love Yourself//Genesis 1:26-31//Brian Kemp-Schlemmer, preaching.
