Sunday mornings at City Square, beginning February 1st.
Nones? Dones? Spiritual but Not Religious? Post-Evangelical? Millennial? Post-Modern? These days, when it comes to religion and spirituality we seem to be labeling people more than ever, and religions everywhere want to know how to “reach” these folks. What would it look like, though, to no longer be concerned about “reaching” people for or “attracting” people to, a faith community? What does it mean to stop treating people as demographics and labels, and create community with one another, instead?
On February 1st and February 8th we’ll offer panel-style presentations where we’ll hear stories of how folks find meaning and belonging within and outside of the church, today.
On February 15th, pastors Rob and Brian will enter into dialogue with one another about the church’s role in creating transformative and inclusive faith-based communities in the 21st Century.
While children are always welcome, in worship, free professional child care and children’s Sunday School is available.
We hope you’ll join us on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. at 917 E. Sheridan, in Phoenix!
